Heinrich Ross crée sa société d'édition et d'impression en 1901 (logo = un cheval) qui coiffe en 1907 la Rotophot AG : le logo RPH aura différentes variantes jusqu'en 1929 où le logo "cheval" refait son apparition avec le développement de la B.V.G Bromsilberdruck GmBH

Sera l'un des plus importants créateurs-par le nombre- de cartes fantaisie. On trouvera surtout ici celles enrichissant l'iconographie de personnalités de l'époque : unr infatigable vollectionneuse a entrepris de publier le catalogue de sa production
